Clayton-Nash–City-Fibre-200-x-200

Head of Products | CityFibre

Clayton’s 23 years of telecoms experience started with the emerging internet access market in the early nineties – leading him join The Cloud in 2001, where he rolled out over 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across three countries. Today Clayton leads the product team at CityFibre; a rapidly scaling company that has ducted fibre networks in over 50 UK cities and which laid down the gauntlet to the UK’s incumbent operator in late 2017 with its announcement to deliver FTTP connectivity to at least 5 million homes and businesses (20% of the UK) by 2025. Clayton joined CityFibre from Vodafone in 2016 – where he’d led a full strategic assessment of consumer fibre network futures, advised on network investments and provided technical input into various regulatory projects. Prior to this he undertook a range of strategic roles within BT’s Openreach division – including improving the way Next Generation Access (NGA) was built and managing a Carrier Ethernet, DWDM and TDM product portfolio worth over 900 million pounds.
