José M Oliveira is the Chief Executive Officer of the Marktest Group, responsible for leading and managing the companies of the holding, Marktest, Markdata, and Media Monitor. Throughout his career, he has held several executive positions of increasing responsibility in the Group, including Chief Operation Officer and General Manager of Markdata, S.A. This means he is familiar with all the Group's businesses that span over different fields like media audiences’ measurement, monitoring of advertising activity and investment, several regular studies (barometers), internet panels, pricing and audit studies. retail, etc. Close to his heart is the software development business that is fully integrated with those activities, and has achieved a solid reputation of high expertise based on quality and innovation in the media audience analytics and planning industry. José M. Olivera joined Marktest in 1985 and over the years he has played a key role as driver of innovation and development of media analytic solutions and overseeing the conception and implementation of the People’s Meters system setup by the Group in Portugal.
